The Mini Hercules is a smaller version of the robust and hardworking # 3 Hercules tool, with a 3/8″ square shank, intended to be used on smaller and more delicate turnings like pens, bottle stoppers and boxes.
Our #1 Hercules tool is supplied with a 12″ handle with 2″ epoxied into the handle. Without a handle, the overall length of the tool shaft is 6″. With a handle the overall length of the tool will be 16″. If you are buying the shaft only to use with your own handle, we recommend a 12” handle with about 2″ of the shaft epoxied into the handle.
